I received and installed my solar lamp post yesterday. I ordered it to replace a traditional outdoor lamp post light whose wiring was damaged, and I did not want to dig up the old cable.

I was very impressed with the quality of this product. The entire lamp is made of powder coated aluminum with real beveled glass panels. Even the reflector cone inside and in the top of the lamp is metal.

The solar panel on the top is huge! This is definitely several steps above anything you'll find at the big-box orange or blue home improvement stores.

The light output is pretty good for a solar powered lamp. No, its not as bright as the electric lamp it replaced, but it is plenty adequate to light up my steps and front walkway.

Plus, with the electricity it saves, it will probably pay for itself in a couple of years.

My only zing.....there are 6 small studs with nuts around the top and bottom rings that hold the window frames in. One of the nuts on the bottom was loose inside the base and rattling around. Several others on the bottom and top rings were very loose. I did tighten them all back up and put some thread locker on them to ensure they do not come off again.
